"Lose your mind and come to your senses" - Fritz Perls
My Focus Areas
Somatic coaching supports the development of greater sensitivity to the body as a source of information about how we are organising our experiences. It supports the relaxation of familiar patterns, and cultivates experimentation with different ways of self-organising that are better suited to our situations and life's challenges. Through developing access to our 'whole intelligence' we are gifted the resources to navigate life's complexities on an ongoing basis and beyond the time frame of the coaching sessions. All we need do is trust the process.
Nervous system regulation and cultivating a felt sense of safety in the body
Supporting life transitions with clarity, courage and self-trust
Releasing blocks e.g. shame, perfectionism, fear of not being good enough
Guiding people from overwhelm into embodied presence
The emergence of new patterns of thinking, feeling and action
Strengthening self-belief to step towards what matters

"Change occurs when you become who you are,
rather than when you try to become who you are not"
(Arnold Beisser)
